She sits there and wonders
what else can i do?
for a girl with a broken soul
her heart torn in two

He turned his back
and walked away
he left her there
to feel the pain everyday

She finally knew
that today would be her last
to say her goodbye
and get rid and her past

So she took the knife
and put it to her heart
but tears came to her eyes
because she was falling apart

She threw the knife down
and walked away
and knew that he would be back
just wait another day.

Another day went by
and not a single call
she didnt beleive
how hard she would fall

She waited and waited
but the pain only grew
it was too late now
and she finally knew

A month later
he finally came
and opened her door
this wasnt a game

He saw her alseep
laying on her bed
so he held her close
and thought about what he said

She opened her eyes
and saw him sleeping
and she just knew
that this wasnt her dreaming

She got closer to him
never letting go
this must be my happy ending
it can finally show

Now that I look back
I know i made the right choice
to just sit there and wait
and he would hear my voice
