Trip to Roseland Waterpark |

So today me and my cousin, Jen, went to a waterpark in a small town up here in New York. It wasn't a very big one. If you compare it to places like Schlitterbahn, this was a tiny park. But it was enough to not get lost and be entertained for hours.
Me and Jen first off went into the wavepool. It was ok except the lifeguards were just being Nazis...We were like three feet away from a rope and they told us to get away from it. We couldn;t swim back because the waves kept pulling us back...But tis was a fun thing.
We then took a double tube and rode a waterslide called the Tornado. It was basically a dark tunnel that slaps you in the freaking face with water in the end with high speeds. We were screaming loudly and I was shouting "Oh my God, I cannot see!!" It was literally pitch dark in there.
We then went on a big purple slide called the Twister. No one was in line we had to climb many many many stairs to get to the very top. I hate stairs! Jen went down first and then as soon as I sat down and waited for the signal to go, I could hear Jen screaming from 65 feet up where I was. Then I went down and I was screaming and so freaking scared at once. Water kept splashing in my face and I was terrified to breathe because it was a lot of water, I could almost be under water. Then I reached the end and Jen and I walk away muttering, "That slide wasn't worth it." Since we both almost got hurt in the process of the ride.
We rode a ride titled the Mammoth. Its a big huge slide where you ride in a raft with 2-4 people. Me and Jen rode the ride almost the whole time screaming obnoxiously and saying random stuff. We eventually got Grandma to go with us and to our surprise we see some people acting and dressed as pirates. Who, apparently, came from a nearby Renasaince *can't spell it* Festival. Oh it was pretty funny and cool.
Grandma rides one ride with us then leaves. So Jen and I go back to ride Mammoth for the rest of the day. After about our possibly tenth time around of screaming/singing/randomness down the slide, we go back up again for who knows the number time it was, we ended up right behind the pirates. Tis was a funny time that was. They talked with us and stuff. They asked me where I was and responded "Texas" and they asked me, still in character, what ships I ride on. Of course, I couldn't answer because I haven't ridden in one yet. So later on we are about to go on the ride when two of the four pirates ahead of us ask us if they could ride with us. Of course we said yes. We named our raft the Dark Blue Hurricane and they gave us nicknames. Jen was Boot-legged Betty and I was Scurvy Sally. Heh heh. So we four go down the slide and Jen and I are screaming cause of the fact that parts of the slide makes you feel like you'll fall off. While the pirates are singing one of those pirate songs and one was also trying to "get water out of the ship" Me and Jen are just screaming and laughing the whole ride. Jen we reach an end and I accidentally leaned back too far and my head went underwater at the pool at the end. As we get out I sit there saying "I went underwater" and the pirates respond saying "And she lives to tell the tale." They left and we tell each other, "That was totally epic"
We went on an Adventure River ride. Which was nothing more than one of those lazy rivers. Of course we spotted some of the Pirate Posse there. Me and Jen are just in our own little world though the whole time. We didn't really talk to them on that ride. But Jen and I where in our own random world. We were just talking and singing random stuff the whole time. Stuff like making jokes about Death Note, Trinity Blood, Vampire Knight, Twilight, and FullMetal Alchemist. Oh yeah, we were really random today. Once we get off the ride we randomly decided to sin the We like Waffles song out loud. But no one was there to make fun of us. So we didn't care.
We later go get some lunch with grandma and of course some of the pirates walk by and comment at us as they stroll by. Some posse walk by and talk to some random people. One said out loud "I pillage those frenched fries." Then another sees me smiling as they walk by and another said "I pillage her smile" Of course I just thought it was funny. Five minutes later another posse of pirates walk by and I don't remember what they said but Jen just heard butterflies and masculine in the same sentance and she just sits there laughing hysterically and one of the pirates look at us and shout "Hi Ho!" I just sat there laughing with her.
We then go back to the Mammoth for the thousandth time and as we wait we again tell each other random jokes off of several anime. But we were mostly fixated on Trinity Blood, Death Note, and YuGiOh. We soon found ourselves speaking like the pirates as the day went on. It was very contagious. We also commented on how funny we thought the Whats Up people song from the beginning of Death Note was hysterical because its Japanese Screamo music. We couldn't stop laughing. We then found ourselves singing Sweeny Todd music to each other too. We were just off the walls today
After our numorous rides on the Mammoth we finally had to go home because it started raining. The pirates have already left. But we still couldn't help but to talk like them...
Overall today was super, epic, awesome!! *inside joke* This was also a memorable day next to the Canada trip.
