Dream 6:
It was a reoccuring dream, one I'd had before, and I knew it even as I walked across the vast landscape, we were in another world my twin and I and the others that roamed here, taken from where we lived and thrust into this chaos. there were 12 cities, some of them rural, some of them massive, each one was infested at a different level. Yes, infested. Some had become...something else, mutated, even the animals, savage beasts that would sooner bite you thanlook at you, the word zombies pops into mind, but that isn't right, they weren't dead...just..something else. If you were bitten you had but a few minutes before you became like them and began to attack others, the human's weren't so bad but the animals..they grew in size and verocity, a crocodile soon became a massive beast that towered near 2 stories, a house cat became 3 times the size of a panther and all out for blood.some cities were worse than others, to the south was a city that although now a broken shell of the things, was once a technological center, We had a map you see, she and I, we'd received it from the old woman, a figure known by many, she knew wha twas happening, always, like some sort of prophet, she told us before she died that there was a place called the rift, a holy place none had ever seen that if you stepped foot within it, you could return home again, none but her knew the way and she could not tell us, but al the same, cary and I figured it out. We travelled the cities in a predefined circuit, gathering the others like us searching for the old woman and the rift, we told them what we'd realized, asked them to join us, none did, the beasts broke into one of the building's we were in, many fell prey, I and cary ran, got out, but she'd been bitten and fell at a corner street, she wouldn't get up, I pleaded with her but she was too intent on writing her last moments down, I pleaded an begged for her to get up, to go just a bit farther to another building where I knew my own death waited, but she never got up. And I awoke.

The Journal of Jamie Davenport and includes both random commentary as well as a descriptive detailing of my most vivid dreams. (always a good read when you've got nothing else to do)
