I was sitting on the edge of my seat, waiting for the bell to ring. It's a Friday, meaning I can see my lovely, smart mother, to smell the strawberry sent of her, silky, golden hair, to feel the softness of her tanned, creamy skin and to see that angelic face that I own with that lovely shade of baby- brown eyes. I nearly ran out of school to meet my mother who was waiting outside on the swings. When I reached the back of the school, I stopped dead. It was him, vampire boy. He was so close to her, I nearly fainted, to see my mother so close to danger.
"...and this is Jasper, my new boyfriend." I realized that she was talking to me and I had to make a quick come back.
" Nice to meet you." I whispered out of stiff lips.
" As it is to meet you, Secret. Your mother has told me all about you." He said in his velvety voice. As before, the gleaming, blood red ruby caught my eye. I had a closer look at it this time, though. The ruby was twined on the ring with silver vines covering the ring. There was a small imprint on the ring. All that remains... it said.
" Jasper is going to be living with us for a while, Secret." my mother said in her honey sweet voice.
And that was when I knew I was going to die. I did the only thing I could do, I fainted.
