So many people died Hearts were broken Newborn babies cried These things went unspoken While mothers mourn And children play Lifes hems were torn All this no one was brave enough to say New birds take wing Trees are cut down Songbirds die, they no longer sing No one ever spread these words around A teen ran away And poor children starved Someone hit a stray Yet still the way to truth is barred Defensless children are beat Sick men spread disease While the homless sleep on the street Still no one spoke these A childs parent is torn away And the unloved babies cry Still no one tells today How many people die All this no one ever said Picturesque Honey · Wed May 06, 2009 @ 09:30pm · 0 Comments
