I’m soulless, bottomless, lost at every turn,
And when it seems that the sun comes out,
A flock of ravens churn,
Blacking out the sun,
And taking away my light,
Making me question the battle,
Wanting to quit the fight,
As dark shades start to surround,
I'm alone within my being,
Trapped within the night,
These monsters that do lurk around,
Have cause my soul a fright,
Ive tossed and turned no longer,
I will not lose more sleep,
This animal that’s raging,
Stands at my very feet,
The darkness plagues my very mind,
And hatred fills my brain,
As i stand within showers,
Tears within the rain,
Cast aside by the light,
Not knowing if it’s true,
This depression that has become me,
Takes on a deep blue hue,
Why can’t i stop the madness,
why can’t i make it stop,
this pain it rips at my flesh,
and to my knees i drop,
Screaming out to the heavens,
Wanting the pain no more,
this pain that has left me broken,
My heart shattered and sore.
