I walk around in the cold, dark night because I have been disowned; to be exact this is what happened:
It was Saturday and we were having the usual tense family dinner when the phone rang, my father excused himself to answer it. Moments later he stormed back into the kitchen cursing my name and shouting. Ha told my mother that I had failed yet another class and gotten in another fight-when the truth is I got beaten up again by an older kid. Now my parents never really liked me although they tried their best to be kind, but tonight the snapped. “Moimii, I cannot take this anymore! You never do anything right, you are so stupid, I wish you weren’t my daughter!” my father yelled, red in the face. “I’m only human.” Was my meek reply, and that set them off. “Get out now, never come back, by tomorrow you will no longer be my daughter, I disown you!” my father huffed. I stood quickly and hurried to the door, walking out without a saying a single word or casting so much as a parting glance. Once in the cold I realized I was only wearing my school uniform-long sleeved white shirt and a gray short skirt with a tie sort of thing-and no shoes or socks! I walked about briskly, in a weak attempt to keep warm, keeping my head down and then-bam! “Oww that hurt...” I muttered, rubbing my head. “Uhh my butt hurts…” I turned to look at who I had crashed into. It was an older boy/younger man, brunet, not too tall, one eye was black-the other covered by his askew sunglasses, and wearing a red suit-possibly a school uniform. Some one offered me a hand up, he looked similar to brunet, slightly taller and older I think, and in a similar suit that was white instead of red. (to be continued)
