The path to my inner demons

Song of a poor man
My lost dove has returned
But my heart is still in turmoil
So many thoughts and worries
My wish is to support and care for only her
Alas it is my inability to do so
There is a block in my heart
It encloses my pain and traps it with in
The lonely path she walks taking my role
My desire to tread with her and share the role is the burden she holds
The tears streak across my heart as I sing A Poor Mans Song
