Having recently discovored how much I like tea, I am now in search of the perfect tea set. Or two. Or five. Or more...
Tea sets seem like a reasonable thing to collect, they are both decorative and functional. My friend gave me a beautiful Korean tea set for my birthday. A little tea pot, 3 cups, wooden saucers, and this other thing. I'm not sure what it's for, my mother suggested that it might be a creamer but that's not likely as it is bigger than the teapot itself. It came with some nice green tea too but I can't read the directions; they're in Korean. Along with the set, I also recieved some wonderfully aromatic vanilla black tea.
Now I am in seach of a good English tea set, a Japanese one too, and a few "fun" tea sets. I saw this nice frog shaped one in a magazine once, red with gold painted charachters on it. The magazine didn't say where I could fing it though. Strange. I want a tea set for every occasion. Mmmmm.
Here are some of the sets that I've been looking at (mostly for my own reference because if I don't put them down somwhere I'll forget where I found them by the time I have enough money to buy.):
Nice tea for two sets:
