I'm addinf onto the continuum! I keep thinking forward and kinnda blowing by the orginal Rivina. I have up til the third book with a few scattered events marked through out. I'mma blame it on two rather unexplainable characters... Rhyns has two sons, though nobody can really figure out how... I kindda have it planned out but not really. I'm not certain about how to describe their heratage.
Cuz Alikx is Rhyns' eldest son, he has the some impairment that Rhyns has; he doesn't have the ability to use Lorian magics. When a parent's Lorian mana is repressed or nonexitant the offspring will be unable to use Lorian magic. However Orie, Rhyns' youngest son can use Lorian Magics. According to Lorian doctors and practitioners the only way that can happen is if some one is as strong as the Anako Miso or stronger. Since it's practically impossible to be strong than the Anako Miso and anything below that level is inadiquit does it not stand that there lies an impossibility?
For the current Anako Miso is male. ...Hmm...
The only other explaination I can offer is that the Pheonix, misborn or otherwise, must concieve an heir through their genetic material. Which thein mean that Rhyns just gave Alikx and Orie his last name or that they bore children. Which I'm having a few biological problems with. For even though Rivinian biology is not Terran, it's rather avian like in it's skeletal structure. It's fragile with hollowed bones. So for a female to bear children is hard enough but to imagine the ridig and thinner structure of a male being forced to carry a child seems highly unlikely.
But hey, I created them so therein if who do I have to explain anything to, it's my story. If they got a problem with it, make their own, ne?
Well either way, it's very hard to explain Rhyns' highly unusual eye colour let alone it showing up in both his children.
However, Rhyns is only half Rivinian, his other half is a race of Sun dwellers called Solarius. Solarius are a race of humaniods that have bisexual reproduction. Thus why they can have arranged marriages even before their child is born. Makes things fascinating... _-_;;
Although Anako has long since hinted that he is not Rivinian, his body is. He was reborn as a Rivinian Magi.
But anyways I'm rambling about this because... There's this constantly mentioned 22 year gap where Anako vanishes. This is becuase after Orie is born Anako foresees his death and the death of Rhyns' and Orie, so he leaves to try and change this. However Rhyns tries to come after him so Anako tries to erase himself from his memories. Much to his dismay, yet pride, he is too deeply ingrained in his memories to possibly remove himself. So he removes all personal traits from the memories and leaves a shadow person basically that Rhyns is led to believe he tried to block out. He left a protocol in his mind that when either he releases the spell or dies Rhyns will remember him, but lose most of the memories between then and the surpression.
Within two years of Anako enacting that spell he is killed by an infinate that had lost his memories in transition along with his power staff. However Anako's death was after the duel when he expended all his energy to banish the infinate from Rivina. To Anako's shagrin he is instructed to give the pitiful kinslayer drections to save himself later and found his soulmate before he found the infinate, who had sold himself in the mercanary biz. Because the two souls are always drawn to one another Anako had stayed with the soulmate as kind of a ghost, or guardian angel. When they were reunited Anako made his presence known and gave him instructions to find his staff and regain his memories.
He then returns to Death where he instructs Orie by use of a spirit commonour that he posseses. After Orie turns 20 and has completed his apprenticship Anako instructs his two other apprentices to reserect him.
Much to the Web Mistries's ( Lady Silphy)body died but the infinate blood within him resurrected his infinate body, consuming the Rivinian shell. The Shadow Whisper (Zalana) was also surprised and tried to instruct his companion to chant with them because they didn't know that Anako had trained the ecential third apprentic, whom he dubbed Seraph Lord (Orie).
Once Orie joined them they were able to bring his soul back to his body. He has since periodically vanished because when he loses concentration his true form becomes blantly obvious.
So, yeah, Ray, Jamie, Orie, and Rhyns are definately the focal point of the story since Anako is basically a shade. Orie knowns that his trainer is actually Anako but doesn't know anything about their conection and a Lorian master goes by a given name as well.
But these names are only for Lorians that are trained in schools other than the typical Lorian magics, which most are.
Aprentacis are only allowed to call each other by their master's given names and not allowed to know their other identies to keep rivalries from forming between the pupils.
So Anako's three apprentices only know each other's dubbed identies. Though Orie and Zalana both know who each other is.
The last thing about the resurrection of Anako is that Lady Silphy was cursed by her own vained. She called upon an Infinate despite Anako's warnings and he cursed her by making her so beautiful that he looks kill. Being that Anako is an Infinate he can look upon her and was able to give her a veil that she must always wear. When they tried to resurrect Anako Death appeared before them and demanded a soul in return. He acepted the Web Mistress as his bride, finding that only her beauty was comparable to an Infinate.
Mind blown yet? Well if not, wait til next time.
