Update from the East Coast!
You know, I was going to post something specific up here and now I just can't remember what it was.

Hrm.

Oh well. xD I'll just have to make an update.

Christmas was better than it had been last year. I got three new corsets, boots, an absolutely BEAUTIFUL Chinese dress, a Bleach calender plus Ramune and chocolate. Quite the delicious combo. xD For dinner we had some turkey, mashed potatoes, bread, yams/sweet potatoes, stuffing and that cranberry sauce. I, however, hate Thanksgiving food, so I only ate the turkey, mashed potatoes and bread. Yams, stuffing and that cranberry crap can suck it. They're terrible. TERRIBLE. But turkey, mashed potatoes and bread are my friiiend~ And after dinner was finished most of the family was in the kitchen while I and my brother-in-law were in the living room watching that new show Leverage. It's not particularly my fancy, but I wanted somewhere to sit so I went into the living room. xD I also heated myself up some ramen, which resulted in everyone giving me strange looks and going: "are you SERIOUS?" and calling me crazy. xDD; Now let me tell you it wasn't just ANY ramen. This was ICHIBAN RAMEN. Ichiban means number one in Japanese. It comes fifty cents a package my friend, that s**t is good. So anyway, I watched Leverage spread out across the floor with my bowl of ramen (not before spilling some boiling water on my leg ;o; ) and then afterwards I think we watched the new Incredible Hulk. Or it might have been the last movie of the Bourne trilogy... either one. Then we played some game where you have to lay your head on top of someone's stomach and go: "HA" without actually laughing. First person who starts goes "HA" once, second person does it twice, third person does it three times and so on. It's interesting how it never even gets passed the fourth person. xDD I only screwed up once or twice while my other sister couldn't hold her beans back. I think we reached around... seven. That's the farthest we were able to go. ^^;

Before Christmas I went to go visit Alika-chan in Philadelphia, this time at her actual house. Her location in Philadelphia isn't the best but her house and room were quite cozy. =w= I was there from about two to five or six and all that we did was sit and talk. xDD It was awesome, though; it's been a while since I've enjoyed just sitting and talking for hours.

Oh, NOW I remember what it was that I wanted to talk about! Okay, now, I think that I need glasses. xD; Not reading glasses, per se, I've already got those (little one-dollar ones, lowest prescription for when my eyes start getting tired) but actual wear-all-the-time glasses. I can still see and read things quite fine, but lights like stars, electronic numbers and the lights on the Christmas tree are all fuzzy and twinkle when I look at them. (Stars meaning planets- you're supposed to be able to tell if a star is really a planet because a planet does not twinkle.) When I look only out of my right eye everything is clearly fuzzy, so I know that my right eye sucks. xD My left eye does fine... but still, lights are twinkly and fuzzy and when I tried on my sister's boyfriend's glasses I could see the numbers from my sister's cable box atop her T.V. just fine and the Christmas tree lights weren't twinkling.

I'm not sure if this is just paranoia or not, though. I've always had headaches since I was a little girl and when I went to the doctor (practically my first check-up ever, we've only gone when it seemed like something was wrong ^^; ) this year and told her about my headaches she told me to go get my eyes checked. So my mom took me and the doctor said that I had perfect 20/20 vision, even though since the sixth grade I've always been told that it was 30/30. xD But those people were always just those people that come to schools in vans to do hearing and eye sight check-ups and this guy was specifically an eye doctor, so... I dunno. D:

So my reasons for having headaches remains still unknown. They're not horrible headaches, I just feel this pressure inside of my head and usually it's just annoying. Sometimes I get really bad pain in different parts of my head that lasts for about a few seconds or sometimes a few minutes. Seems like it's usually in my temples or the back-left part of my head, but I haven't really kept a journal of it. Which maybe I should, because there is a condition where a person will get a headache only at specific times of the days or the year. Or for some sorry sap migraines. ;o;

Also, now that Christmas is over and the rest of my gifts will be pictures (or they will be if I can sharpen my pencil- bought myself a new sketchbook and those silky-smooth drawing pencils, forgot to buy a pencil sharpener and in this house of THREE CHILDREN THERE IS NOT A PENCIL SHARPENER) I've gone through the stores and marketplace on Gaia and have reupdated my Wish List. So, once everything is back to normal I'll be hopping about Gaia questing for different things. xD And I have all of the items hidden for now, so that's why it looks as if my Wish List is empty on my profile.

And wow. I haven't made a journal entry this size in... well, really long time. @_@

Ending this now. It's noon and I still need to take a shower. xD I'm notorious here for sleeping a LOT due to the fact that I sleep in until around eleven or even later if I'm allowed to. Which is ironic because during the school year I get about five hours of sleep every night, which is hard for my sister and her husband to believe. xDD My sleep here is still shitty, but it's definitely more than what I got in NM. And when I'm with my other sister, Audree, I sleep like a rock. See, her apartment is actually WARM. Unlike this house which is kept at a blistering hot temperature of sixty-five degrees. MY INTERNAL THERMOMETER IS NOT HAPPY. TT___TT

And I think I spelled thermometer wrong... oh well. Toodle pip!

    Sounds like you had a decent time ^_^

    Not sure what to say about your sight... I know that everyone’s sight changes over time, like with me... I had to wear glasses from the ages of 8-10, and have had pretty much perfect sight ever since, just the occasional lapse in one eye... But definitely get it checked out *nods*

    I'm the same as you with my head. I used to get severe "migraines", from about the age of 12... now I still get them from time to time, but have a constant pain in one place 24/7, sometimes worse than others... Still no clue as to what it is, and will probably never know xp

    And this comment is going to get long if I keep going, so *hugs* sweatdrop

    Hard to say much about the eyes sis, as I've worn glasses since I was like 4 years old. Only problems I had were due to developing floaters and finding out that my brain was off a bit wink

    Sounds like you got some cool stuff all right...would love to see a pic of that Chinese dress...and is that chocolate already gone? hmm?

    It's good your Christmas was alright.

    When I was just a tad younger I used to get headaches which sound similar to what you're describing. They were annoying, somewhat common, but not overly painful. They were just there (well, eventually they got worse during the course of the day if I didn't treat it). Worst of all, though (and this may be a symptom of you), is that even if I treated them with medication they never truly vanished until I slept. Now I found that cause of these annoyances to be exposure to too much light - sunlight, lightbulbs, computer light. It didn't really matter. as of now they hardly happen anymore, but only occasionally. Hopefully it's the same with you and they go away soon enough.

    Or it probably may be the glasses. If you didn't, explain to the eye doctor your problem with seeing light and such.

    That's kind of light my sister too. She cranks it up to 75 fahrenheit...

    Nossir, you spelled thermometer right. Just think of thermo + meter. (:
