On the Run: Chapter 1
It all began with the life of one boy, no older than the age of 15, was on a walk through the marketplace in the small town of Hangaku Getsuei. This is where it would all begin....
The young teenager was very poor, since he was orphaned at a young age and forced to live on his own, no one really liked him, or even payed attention to him at all. His darker appearance and reclusive attitude made some fear him, others simply despised him for being different. Until one day finally, while he was picking things from the marketplace to help keep himself fed, he saw her...She was the most beautiful person he had ever seen, standing with long beautiful flowing blond hair, and a face as bright as the sun. Her eyes gleamed a beautiful sky blue as he looked at her in amazement. He felt the urge to approach her, but a dirty peasant looking person like himself could never get such a beautiful maiden's attention, or so he thought to himself. Finally he worked up the courage to approach her, his knees shook as he took each step towards her and finally stood in front of her. He could hardly think of words to say to her, until finally the words made their way out of his mouth "H....Hello...M-my name is Kurisu..W-would you care to...Spare a few coins maybe..?" He spoke in a very shy tone, studdering every now and then, his knees still shaking in her presence. In front of her, he felt as if he were in the presence of an angel. Finally she responded, to his surprise she didn't sound the least bit frightened by him or annoyed. "Sure. Why not? I'll do you better than that actually. How about you accompany me for a meal? You look like you haven't eaten much in days. Come clean yourself off at my house." Her gleaming blue eyes then met his, he took her hand, and began walking off with her, his entire body seeming to feel warmer holding her hand and walking with her.

On the Run: Chapter 2
As Kurisu continued walking with the strange and beautiful girl they approached her house. To his surprise, it wasn't that large a house. Infact, it was more of a smaller type house, usually owned by a commoner. She welcomed him into her house and prepared a meal for them both. As Kurisu sat next to the girl he took a sip of his tea and then looked her in the eyes. "By the way...I never caught your name...What was it again?" Kurisu asked curiously, still with a shy quiet tone in his voice. "Oh! I'm sorry I didn't mention it while we were on the way here. My name's Juliet. Glad to meet you." She smiled at him and her eyes met his. Kurisu looked so innocently into her eyes, he began to blush slightly as he stared deeply into her beautiful blue eyes. Juliet smiled back at him, then sipped more tea. Kurisu couldn't help but ask a question, seeing how he was so interested in Juliet, and he hadn't felt this way about a person for as far as he could remember. "D...Do you believe in love at first sight, Juliet..?" Kurisu blushed as he asked the question, feeling embarrassed to ask her, seeing how he had only just met her. "Y..Yes..Why do you ask..?" Replied Juliet, also blushing slightly, feeling somewhat the same as Kurisu. "Well I mean...You're very beautiful Juliet...and well...I suppose I feel an attraction to you..I mean that I sort of..Love you...I know it may seem a bit sudden seeing how we just met and all, but it's how I feel.." Kurisu couldn't hold back his nervousness now, his face lit red form blushing. He tried to hide it, but couldn't seem to hide it enough. As Juliet noticed him blushing, she smiled and softly laughed and moved Kurisu's hand away from his face and looked him in the eyes again. "It's alright..I feel the same about you.." As soon as Juliet spoke those words, she moved in slowly towards Kurisu and her lips met his, and they kissed each other. Kurisu stroked Juliet's hair a little, and as they broke the kiss, they stared each other in the eyes once more. "Hey..It's getting late.." said Juliet "Care to stay the night tonight..? You look like you don't really have anywhere else to go, I'll gladly let you stay with me." She smiled and took his hand and guided him upstairs to a spare room in the house. Kurisu made himself comfortable and layed down. Juliet peered through the doorway and spoke to him one last time before bed "Goodnight Kurisu..It certainly was nice meeting you today..Pleasent dreams tonight.." With that, she left off to her room. Kurisu stared at the ceiling for a while, then slowly closed his eyes and fell asleep for the night....

On the Run: Chapter 3
The next morning Kurisu woke up, to his surprise Juliet was in a frantic rush and ran into Kurisu's room. "Hurry!" said Juliet "You have to leave! I'm sorry but you really must! It's urgent!" She hurried and gathered Kurisu's things and handed them to him. "Wh..Why the rush, Juliet?" Asked Kurisu curiously. "What's so urgent? What's going on here?" Kurisu clothed himself and looked at Juliet confused. "No time to explain! He's coming! Just go! Leave while you still can!" Yelled Juliet to Kurisu. Kurisu stood his ground and then a serious look came upon his face "I'm not leaving until you give me some answers Juliet." Said Kurisu. "Alright...Fine.." said Juliet "I'll tell..You wanna know how I got these wonderful clothes and a house all to myself? These things were all gifts..From a certain someone...Over the past few weeks he's been mistreating me so badly, and had been demanding far too much from me, I just couldn't take it anymore, so I ran away and came here for a while...Now he's sending his men after me, he wants me back, but I just can't go back to him...I...I think I'd rather stay with you, Kurisu..." Her voice became quiet and trailed off, then suddenly a loud bang came at the door. "Oh no!" Said Juliet "They're here for me!" Juliet immediately ran to try and hide, while Kurisu, still confused and wanting to protect her, stood his ground. Juliet pulled Kurisu back however, and forced him to stay hidden while she went to face them. There, waiting in the main room, after bursting through the door, was a tall, strong, intimidating looking man who seemed to tower over Juliet. "The boss wants you back..You're comin' with me." said the man, stareing down at her. Juliet took a few steps back and tried to resist, but the man stepped closer to her with each step she took back. Juliet grabbed a small dagger in attempt to defend herself and held it in front of her. "Heh...Cute. The girl dares raise a weapon to me.." laughed the tall intimidating man. "Alright then, let's play for a bit, shall we?" He immediately lunged forward and grabbed Juliet by the neck. Juliet, already feeling weak from being grabbed, loosened her grip on the dagger, but not before landing a slice at the man's arm. Juliet dropped the dagger after landing this blow, and then screamed. Suddenly, Kurisu rushed into the room "Juliet!" He ran in and picked up the dropped dagger and faced the tall man. "Put...Her...Down!" said Kurisu in a serious and angry tone, now holding the dagger to the man. "Oh, well look at this! The girl has a little friend to help her! This is cute indeed, who is this? Your new lover?" He laughed, still holding Juliet in his hand. "K..Kurisu!" That one word escaped Juliet's mouth, even while she was being held by the neck. Kurisu immediately rushed forward, leapt up, and sliced the man's jugular vein. Blood spouted from the man's wound and he dropped juliet and placed his hand on his wound. "Y...You little brat! I'll kill you for that!" The man became enraged and charged Kurisu viciously. Kurisu met his charge, ducked, and sliced clear down his body as the man tripped over him. The man lay on the floor in a pool of blood after suffering such a blow. Kurisu immediately helped Juliet up "Are you okay? What the hell's going on here? I still don't get it." said Kurisu, concerned about Juliet's condition. While the two were talking, the man slowly got up and lit a match and flung it out the window. Smoke began rising from where the match landed, and Juliet immediately picked up what was going on. "Come on! We have to get out of here!" Said Juliet frantically. Kurisu quickly grabbed her hand and ran out the door and along the trail. They could hear an explosion from behind them, the house had lit up and exploded due to a pile of gunpowder that had been placed by it. A crowd of people were chasing them from behind, all carrying swords and different weapons, obviously friends of the tall intimidating man. Kurisu and Juliet ran and ran as fast as they could to outrun the men, but were finally cornered on a cliffside overlooking the ocean. Juliet, in a bold move took Kurisu's hand and leapt off the cliff and towards the water, their fate, unknown....
