A good teacher is Mr. Weber, my Civics teacher. Mr. Weber is open minded, not lazy and a good speaker. He actually teachers us things. Mr. Weber is passionate about Civics. Mr. Weber believes that when he teaches he is touching the future of our country. He loves to teach students about Economics and how the government works. He is always excited to get into the lesson and work. These are some of the many reasons why I think Mr. Weber is a good teacher.
Mr. Weber is open minded. He was fair and impartial, which means that he considers all viewpoints. When he taught us about political parties, he made sure that he gave the same amount of time spent on each party, Democratic and Republican, and even spent a block to inform us about the third parties. He made sure that we had time to pick the best party that supported the same beliefs and principles that we support, not the party that he thought was the best.
Mr. Weber is a good speaker. He makes sure that he can be hear, even when we are talking to each other and not pay attention to him. It is important to be an articulate speaker, because teachers want to make sure that the students know all the information. Mr. Weber is good at talking loud.
Mr. Weber is not lazy. He gave everyone a chance to get retakes on the Unit one test on a teacher work day. He made sure that the people who wanted to master the subject are given another opportunity to do so. He thinks that his students should strive to get mastery, 100% on his tests before they are satisfied. He chose to do a make up day for his students. This helped a lot of people understand the subject more and let them have a opportunity to have a higher grade. Since he is not lazy, that means that he cares about his students to do well on their grade. He also chose to grade more tests for the good of his students.
Mr. Weber is a good teacher. He is a good speaker, not lazy and open minded. He enjoys what he is doing and teachers very well. I think that a teacher who is a good speaker, not lazy and open minded are people who are or can be good teachers.
