Banquet of Nothing
"One Life" : A story by me, that I am pretty much inventing and not planning. Involves freakdom, bloodiness, death, emotions, weirdness, blankness, twistdom, and anything else i feel like adding.

Thus, he walked away from her. His boots resounding across the cave, accompanying her cries for help. He could still hear her calling his name at the top of her lungs, pleading. "Are you going to leave her to die?" He stopped for a brief second, then resumed his walk, giving no heed to the voice. Again came the soft voice, it was barely hearable, merely whispers from behind him. "Are you going to let her die?" Black smoke came from his right hand, forming then into a solid dagger. He quickly turned and hurled it in the direction of the voice, but it met the wall of the cave. She stood there, the spirit who had been haunting him, his former conscience, Amira. She hovered, gazing at him with her clear blue eyes, her golden hair gleamed just as the rest of her body. Hence, he once again resumed his walk. "It pains me to see you act this way Eike," she said as she was following him, "I die every time you do something like this, your forgetting me, are you not?" "Once I die," Amira paused for a second, "I will take your memories with me, thus leaving you a mere puppet. Lifeless, thoughtless...heartless...You dont smile anymore, you had a charming smile, You had once been content with life." "It doesn't matter now, does it? There's no way back." Amira hesitated for a second, thinking about The Elders, " What if I told you that there is a way? A way to go back and correct those mistakes." Eike stopped, but didnt turn around. "I have just enough power to revert it all" He turned to face Amira, "What am I to do?"
Meanwhile, at the Far end of the hall, where the entrance to the Caves began, The Brutes, more brawlers than warriors, fetid, repulsive, and fast came upon. Brutes who feast on human flesh, at the faint smell of human blood they become insane, blood thirsty. Hard to kill. There were three of them, dashing on all fours down the hall.
"Go!!! They are coming," commanded Amira.
