Simple But Kinda Profound :) |

We humans are simple beings. Are we not? We are simple input-output machines. We read or hear something, think about it for a while combining it with things we already know, and then we spit it out again in a slightly changed form. If you know everything that has ever been told to a person, you should be able to know exactly what he is thinking. Because that is what shapes us, what makes us who we are; What we know and what we remember. Of course, everyone is given some limitations as to how high one can rise or how far one can spread in collecting his personality. Not everyone is made for doing the exact same things. But that's just limits. Our basis of right and wrong, the most trivial form of language, everything is taught to us from others. It's the people around you that shape your mind.
If you grow up with devoted Christians, you are very likely to become one, unless of course someone from the outside tells you that things aren't exactly like your family has taught you. Then you might begin to question what you know, and decide that either you believe in it, or you believe something else, something someone else has told you. We are more likely to believe something if it is told to us by what we consider a trustworthy person. If a total stranger tells you that we actually live in 11 dimensions, you're not very likely to believe it. You will probably forget it quite soon, unless that person makes some logical statements that fit with your own beliefs.
We humans are extraordinarily social beings, if left alone for a long time, we will begin to develop some very interesting psychological conditions. We have a deep need to interact with other beings, to exchange knowledge and ideas. For example when working on a problem, it is always helpful to know what someone else thinks about it. It shows you the problem from a different view, a view from where it might be much easier to solve. We can solve almost nothing by ourselves, we need help, either from other people directly or through books, chat-rooms or some other form of communication.
So nothing is entirely a single persons idea or solution, it is made up of many other smaller bits that person has learned from others. This whole post is made up of things people have told me in my life, that I then have thought about and combined with things other people have told me. Then i typed it on my keyboard and here it is for you to read and think about. Everything goes in circles. And somewhere sometime, someone will, during his life, be told exactly whats needed for a great solution, and he will combine the different bits and pieces and become famous for creating a grand solution.
We humans are simple beings, but together we become infinitely complex
