I was taught never to show emotion. It was the most important untold law I would have to live by. For five years I was able to maintain that skill, until I saw those beautifully cold black eyes. At that moment my mask fell, but now I must reestablish that mask in order to complete this mission in hopes of continuing my life. This is vital to being an assassin. A life I was forced into, but the price of failing is worse then killing.
When I complete this mission my semi normal life will be no more because the only thing that kept me from reviling who I am to other organizations out there, will be gone, but why didn’t I see it. From the moment I first met my target I should have known.
Law number five for any assassin, never become attach to any one you meet on another mission. Six months ago I broke that law big time and this is the price I must pay. I knew I should have just killed my high profile, drug dealer target without socializing with any one at that party, but I didn’t.
For the past six months of my life I truly lived for once without the burden of what I do weighing me down. The first person I ever learned trust just had to be from another organization. I hope I have the strength. In order to complete my mission tonight I must kill the person I love.

The dark questionable streets of Tokyo were lined with patiently awaiting clubbers with hopes of making it past the giants they call bouncers. At one club in particular the lines to get in resembled that of a line at Disney World during Spring Break. From the outside it looked like nothing more then a desolate run-down building, but on the inside it was a whole different story. Multicolored strobe lights shone down on the dancing bodies crushed together on the dance floor as the DJ kept the music pouring through the speakers. The bar was over run by men pouring drinks down their throats as if it were nothing more then water.
Out of all the people in the club one girl seem to stand out with her bubble gum pink waist length hair. As she swayed her hips to the beat of the music allowing it to take control of her body. Brilliant green eyes searched the bar looking for their next target. She was about to give up when emerald clashed with onyx. His eyes breaking away from hers scanning her from top to bottom, making her feel like her crimson halter, black micro mini, and knee length black lace up boots was nothing more than a speck of dust.
He started to make his way over to her, giving her a chance to take in his appearance. His intense eyes and strong facial features accented his pale skin. Dark raven hair naturally spiked in the back with bangs falling loosely in his eyes. The muscles that could be seen under his black wife-beater made him resemble the bad boy every girl wants to date.
When he came to a stop in front of her she looked up as he towered over her at a tall 6’2”, while she was only the average 5’8” with the help of three inch heels. At that moment the hum of a new song started to escape the speakers. His arms automatically wrapped around her petite waist as they danced to the rhythm of the song. After hours of just staring into the depths of the others soul the voice in her head spoke up telling her to do it now or all was lost. Sliding her hand down his arm till her hand met his, lacing their fingers together. Dragging him towards the door leading to the back alley a smirk made its way to his face. Once outside the cool air sent chill over their sweat-slicked skin.
As they just stood their reminiscing outside he made a move to kiss her, but she stopped it, causing him to look at her with confusion. She slowly reached her hand down to her boots waiting to feel the cool, icy touch of the metal handle as she wrapped her fingers around it pulling it out. Within seconds the look in his eyes switched from that of confusion to hurt and anger.
“Why?” He forced out in a deep hoarse voice. She just stood there with the gun pointed at him trying to hold the tears in that were threatening to break through.
“Tell me why you’re doing this after everything we’ve been through,” he yelled at her. “Or was this your plan the whole time. Hmm. Tell me Sakura, were you playing me right from the start?”
At this her mask broke.
“You really think I’m capable of that?” She paused as if waiting for a reply, but then continued. “If you do, than you’re an idiot. I was never playing you. Every word I spoke and every kiss we shared was strait from my heart,” she seethed as tears broke through, slowly cascading down her cheeks.
“Then tell me why,” he demanded in a harsh voice causing her to stare in shock as she whispered, “I have no choice.”
He stared at her for a minute with emotionless eyes before replying, “You always have a choice.”
Shaking her head no as she looked into his eyes, and pulled the trigger back. “I’m sorry,” she whimpered, while releasing the trigger. The bullet shot out embedding itself in his chest, knocking him to the ground. As soon as his back met the wet, charcoal ground she ran without leaving a trace of her presence. She just ran.

“Oh my god, I actually killed him,” was the only thought running through my head as I collapsed to the ground in an alley. Miles away from the one that now held the lifeless body lying in a pool of scarlet. Tears rushing past my eyes no matter how hard I try to suppress them just like the sobs that now raked through my body.
Knowing that now all I could do was run once I told my leader I had succeeded, for if I stayed I would be good as dead. At least this way I have a better chance of living, but then again I never really did live till I met him.
Inside I can feel my heart shatter into millions of pieces knowing that I am dead in every way possible, but yet I am still alive. Just please Sasuke understand that this is the only way I could have lived on. I promise to protect myself and all the memories of you just please forgive me because you have my heart now and forever. I love you and good-bye.
