A ray of light
Shines through the dark cold
A hand appears from the ray
A hand that I can hold
Though the bitterness
The rage there of
Through all that loneliness
Survived some love
I looked up
She wasnt an angel
She wasnt pure
But she seemed that way at my angle
She let me take her hand
And she brought me into the light
So much comfurt was there
No more lonely cold dark nights
There in the light
I felt so safe
So warm
So brave
The girl smiled and said
"I love you"
All the pain floated away from me
Even though I thought it to be untrue
"Love"
I said
The thing I needed most
I thought Id be left dead
Her sweetness surronded me
Like ribbons of silk smooth
Such comfurting feeling
Such one to sooth
She was there
the whole time
But I avoided her
Thinking it be a crime
I felt my heart beat
I felt her arms around my neck
This girl
Saved me from this heck
That dark abyss
Shattered and faded
Gone was my cold sad life
And my new life was created
This girl
She loved me with such heart
This is how I knew
Nothing could tear us apart
Sunshine
Instead of night
Warmth of her love
All this light
"why would you save me"
I asked a little sad
"Because you were unloved"
"Because you were treated bad"
I looked in her eyes
I knew all this
My love grew faster
As I gave her my kiss
Her chest on mine
her arms tight
As if holding on to my love
With all her might
She brought her head close
And laid it on my shoulder
"I was finally found"
I said as I countinued to hold her
