Well, it's actually not new. About 2006.
It's new to me though. It's called Hachimitsu to Clover, or Honey and Clover.
It's super cute and i'd say that it's a must see for any Parakiss fans out there.
The genre is drama/comedy/romance.
I'm trying really REALLY hard to not squeal right now over the cute pairings that this anime has. whee
Anyways, it's not for those that don't like romance and shoujo- it's chock full of cute moments, unrequited loves, and heartbreak.
So let's see..basics. Two seasons have been released, the first one with 24 episodes plus two special ones, and the second one with 12.
Personally the two special eps aren't really that...well...special. They're kind of side stories and if you don't watch them it won't affect your understanding of the plot and characters.
It made me cry at some parts of it, which I think of as a plus with drama animes. Plus the characters are very easily relatable. Especially with one particular character, Yamada. You'll see why.
Not to mention a great soundtrack. I actually hope to purchase it sometime in the future.
And for those of you who love cute pairings and shipping, there's plenty of oppurtunity here. There's one in particular that I just LOVE!! *squeals* I'm sorry, I just couldn't hold it in any longer. blaugh
There's a manga also, but I didn't bother to read it. I glanced at the artwork though, and found it to be almost identical to the anime. Cool! 3nodding
Well, i'm going to go back to reading Honey and Clover fanfics. Have fun!
On a side note: Does anyone know what the heck Doujinshi are? I heard that they're fan drawn comics, but I see them all over ebay. I'm thinking that there might be some cool Ouran and H&C ones but I want to find out more before buying. Please help?! eek
