This is my book that I'm starting to write about, please tell me if I have any grammatical errors and or suggestions on it. (remember I'm in middle school so my writing skills can't match J.K Rowling)

Welcome to the world of Mapletree, where creatures of all kind roam the land, from the cute and cuddly ones to the hideous and cruel ones. One thing is clear, we, the citizens must keep the peace between our kinds and harmony.
Our world is simple, people must help others in need and fight against the evil creatures that lurked in the shadows. When that person finishes the task they will gain experience points. With enough experience the person can level up and get higher ranked quests. When he or she get strong enough they can take a occupation, magician, bowman, warrior, or a thief.
The adventour starts now!

This is so fun, thought Melanie. She was whacking at a monster that the Mapletree people would know as a Blue Snail. It was a really beginner monster and had only 15HP. Melanie had curly brown hair that could pass as dirty blond hair flowing down her shoulders. Her red sapphire eyes were popping because of the red tube top that she was wearing. She also had on a white miniskirt that was not too short that you could see her undies but enough that it wasn’t a skirt. She had finally killed the Blue Snail that she was whacking at. A blue aura shone around her, she watched the blue surround her as it floated away. She has just leveled up and this was her bodies way of telling her. A smile crept to her face, she did it! She was now on lv.10.
“Well that’s about time you did,” a boy with blond hair replied.
