Elizabeth opened her old brown chest that was given to her in her fathers will. She removed the bottom of it and took out her old pirate clothes from ten years before, including her sword. Then she lifted the chest that contained Will’s heart in it and set it aside before changing into her clothes. She strapped swords, guns, and knifes to her belt and hid them in her outfit before rushing upstairs to her son’s room. “John?” She whispered kneeling next to his bed. “John I need you to wake up.” “Mother?” John asked groggily. “Sweetie you have to get up,” Elizabeth said as he sat up slowly. John looked at her sleepily. "Mama what's wrong?" "There's no time to explain sweetie. I just need you to be quiet and follow my orders alright?" Her son nodded and got out of bed, and she helped him get dressed. Then she handed him the chest with Will's heart in it. "Honey I want you to hold this and not let go of it unless I tell you to okay?" "Alright," John answered taking the chest into his small hands. "Come now, hurry!" She beckoned him towards the door and followed. The mother and son made their way to the docks where Barabossa was waiting. "Ye ready lass?" The pirate asked. John hid behind Elizabeth when he saw Barabossa. She nodded, "are we riding on the black pearl or the flying dutchman?" "Black Pearl for now. Jack be waiting around that rock." Barabossa gesteured to a large rock formation. "I don't know where Will is." Elizabeth nodded and pushed John towards the dingy behind Barabossa before getting in herself. Barabossa borded last and then threw the lantern he was using into the ocean before picking up the paddles. "Come on lass ye need to help too." "Right," Elizabeth grabbed the paddle and began to row towards the black pearl.
