People say that TV has little to no educational value. Adults usually think that it is only a distraction to children and is of no use. They don’t think that there are any educational channels on TV. Television is educational. Television is a great way to learn new things and keep up with current events. Television is very educational. They can provide little children knowledge. There are a lot of educational channels like Playhouse Disney and Sesame Street. These channels teach kids their numbers and letters. Sometimes the show teachers them about logic and math. To many parents that just had a baby, they find that their child learns things from television. Television really helps foreign people who first come here. Since they have not be exposed to English all of their lives, therefor their English skills are not as good. That is why there are some channels that teach the basics of English and vocabulary. People can learn their letters and basic words by watching TV. Television can also help people who are behind in school. There are many television shows that help people like that. There was a show on channel 26 called Cyberspace. Cyberspace is an educational show that many people watch. It is a show that teaches the watcher more math skills. There are also channels that help with history, language and science. The science channels are discovery Channel and Animal Plant. Everyday there are numerous things that people can learn from animals and science. The new could help someone who is learning about current events. That is why television has educational value. Sometimes television is a distraction to people who can’t control themselves. The channel that they watch have no point and education in it. When they watch too much TV, others think that television has no educational value. TV is educational. It teaches you knew things and helps people with current events. It is knowledge in someone’s hands, but if you watch things that have no education then the knowledge is wasted.
