...As we left off, Suzzana has found a seeing stone, a smooth black stone with a gaping hole in it in which she can see irregular and marvelous creatures. She found an egg that seemed to bee getting weaker and colder, but was able to hatch it in the end. The egg has just hatched with a bang and Suzzana picks up the baby dragon, and thinks it to be very cute.

Suzzana, who usually didn't speak at all anyway, found it even more impossible to speak. Her eyes open and huge as always, seemed even bigger. Her complexion was pale, like she had seen a ghost even now during midday. Her scruffy black hair was even more mangy and scruffy, since it had been burnt and frazzled on the end. The dragon had equally huge eyes and was a pale yellow-green. Still sopping wet, it's wings were weighed down from the liquid of the egg. sweatdrop It wriggled.
Suzzana thought about what would be an apropriate action. Well- a dragon had just hatch'd-and there was a wasteland of a room, and mom wouldn't exactly be understanding to what happened. She ran to her room, thrust the dragon into a makeshift bed with a pile of cushions and blankets hidden in her closet, and ran to clean the room as best as she could-or hide the all she could. She swept away the ash frantically, pulled back the sofa and saw--her dog, sprawled in the kennel. She was practically dead behind there! Her kennel was behind the sofa, and Suzzana saw that her dog had urinated in a part of it. redface "oh, dear..." muttered Suzzana. She ran to air it out. She turned over the table and put things back where the ybelonged. She pushed the flatscreen into place. Her heart raced; for she knew that soon her mom would be home, and oh what a living hell would be in store for her. She heard her footsteps coming closer like something evil! She crazily zipped to and fro fixing things she'd missed earlier! "Oh! Help help help help help!" She thought to herself. She threw the soiled carpet slash welcome mat back into the kennel, and, finally, rushed to her usual spot in her room, heart pounding madly. She waited... xp "UH OH...sss" she thought...."brace yourself..."
"SuzANNA....!? stare "
"Yes...mom.. sweatdrop ..?" Suzzana said, her quavery voice trying not to sound guilty.... "Please help me with these groceries." Suzzana sighed with relief.
Laying in bed, Suzzana leafed through the crumbling pages of the book, and realized she forgot to return it to the old lady. eek
"Mom, can I go and walk the dog?" "Sure, Suzzana, but just for a short time." Suzzana brought the little Yorkie with her in basket in the front of the bike, along with the baby dragon in her messenger bag. It was cloudy again. Suzzana petaled fast and quickly reached the old bookshop. It was closed! Oh, dear....

Well, Suzanna had two options; "Well, I can slide the book under a crack in the door, but then the old lady would have known I had stolen it, and would have tolde my mom, and forbade me to go..." Suzanna pondered frantically. "...or I can keep it, but then she might realize it's gone. Oh, whats the likleyhood that she will actually go back and look for that book again? It can stay one more day..."
And Suzzana petaled off again.
But little did she know the old lady would soon be returning back, looking just for that one...
