For years it seems
throughout all of time
Weve been hiding ourselves
In a matter of sublime

Through our hiding
Weve casted ourselves into abyss
Who we are
Hiding the ominous

In the forest
Damp and cold
As masked dancers
What for suns unfold

A mist is cast
To hide them more
So not to be seen
And to make vision poor

Under small light
They start to dance
Throughout the trees
Causing a trance

Under the masks
Are people so gray
People you might know
The people today

As a mask
Hides ones truth
The dancers stop
Halting their youth

All wearing
defferent masks
One for each
Daily task

One is a fox
A clever one at that
And next to him
Is the rat

The rat
Tells lies
Next is ol cat eyes

The cat
Is quite the jumper
balanced well
Dogs next to her

Dog is
Loud and sweet
He loves his friends
Then theres monkey so neat

Monkey is
Crazy and uplifting
Cluimbing high
Then theres wolf

Wolf is
fast and tense
Hes determined yet mysterious
Next is fish

Fish is
Isolated and scared
Not willing to take chances
Next is bear

Bear is
Courages and strong
He cares not much so burly
Next is Bird flying along

Bird is
Speedy and strong willed
She flys fastly
Last is hedgehog consealed

Hedgehog is
protective and uneasied
Hes not much of a walker
But who can this be

Arriving so late
Is two beady eyes
There in the branch
She lies

Bat is
Dark and creepy
He seems rather...
Sleepy

As all are here
Take off your masks
Reveal thyself
And they do that task

And all of them
Fox, bird, wolf, bear, rat
hedgehog, dog, fish, cat
monkey, and bat

Their not who their thought
But opposite of those
Now thr dancers
Were finally exposed

Unmask us all
And you will see
What we hide
So deeply
