The Thoughts and Feelings of OuEstLaCraie
A place for thoughts, ramblings, and reflections; a sort of blog, if you will, where I'll share the daily drudgery of my life, the fun things I do with friends, and any random ideas I have for rolling around in my noggin. Enjoy : )

WaveThunder the Brave: Pirate, Leader, Lover |

WaveThunder the Brave they called him. WaveThunder of the Stripehead Clan, family name of Wildheart. Captain WaveThunder Wildheart of the Tigerlilly, a massive ship named for his unrequieted love, piloted by the lovesick tiger himself, who had learned to swim as a cub of barely six months and to love at three.
When he was three, he'd first set eyes on his ship's namesake, and it had been love at first sight. Well, for him, at least. She hadn't seen him because he'd leapt into a bush to admire her from afar, as small children will. And then, when he'd finally played with her once or twice, he continually taunted her, hoping she'd see his undying love for her through the name-calling and poking. She didn't, and they instead became friends, WaveThunder still loving her and Tigerlilly still oblivious to his feelings.
Tigerlilly was the most beautiful creature he'd ever seen: white, glimmering fur, the exact color of untouched snow after the first real blizzard of the winter, with pink eyes. She was tall and dressed to impress, so to speak, and spoke eloquently. But WaveThunder was a pirate, a rogue of the sea and captain of a ragtag group of scoundrels and even halfway decent cretures, and Tigerlilly TrueArrow (so named for the family trait of uncannily good archery skills) was the daughter of the leaders of the Stripehead Clan.
WaveThunder had looted numerous places, had stolen thousands of precious treaures and trinkets, and still couldn't manage to steal Tigerlilly's heart. It frustrated the pirate captain to no end, and was the cause of many a night's endless pacing and agonized rantings. But he loved her, and was determined to make her love him.
He was WaveThunder the Brave, after all. He could do anything. And he would catch Tigerlilly TrueArrow's beautiful rosy eye if it killed him. *~* Random, I know...this is actually how the parents of one of my characters met. I just like the idea, and felt like writing it out. Hope you enjoyed mrgreen
