This is a poem I wrote~
Do you remember back when we were kids?
How we captured bugs and fastened them with lids?
The way you would smile that toothy grin,
Whenever we made a fort to play in?
I do.
Whenever I see you.
Unforutnately I can't do that anymore,
I know you would ask if that was what the internet was for.
Where you are I can't go,
For when my time comes I'll know.
Do you remember when our lips tasted the first snow?
Plus all the bubbles we would blow?
How you would always protect me when I was scared,
Or picked me up when you cared?
I say why waste your day,
Or a life you can wish away?
With a friend I can live to the end,
Yet I guess that belief will have to bend.
