someone else’s orders, for once. First it was the leader of his clan. Then it was the Source. Then Franni. Then like 3 or 4 different evil overlords,
then Avira, and now Selene (though Selene very rarely orders him around).

What frightens this character: The overlord of all evil used to frighten him… that is, until Edward gained the title. Cain creeps him out a little (but mostly just pisses him off). And Franni kind of scared him sometimes too ("Holy crap. I sure hope you never get pissed off at me..." wink .

Is the character generally polite or rude: He’s pretty rude. He can be polite too, but that doesn’t happen often.

Does the character believe in God: Well he believes in a God of some sort. Diego knows all about the lord of all evil.
He knows that there has to be one for good too. Otherwise, everything would be thrown horribly off balance, right? =o

Character's role: evil villain turned hero, turned back into a villain, and turned back into a hero AGAIN. =o

Relationships with other characters:
1. Character's Name: Francesca.
He and Franni actually started out as enemies; Diego being a demon and Franni being a demon exterminator. He was also too strong for her to kill.
So instead of vanquishing him, she put a binding spell on him, and made him help her with fighting demons. He didn’t like this, of course. But after a while he learned to accept it. The two of them even became fairly good friends, although it took quite a while. Of course when Francesca was killed, he was released from that binding spell… only to have it come back into effect when her reincarnation came about.
2. Character’s Name: Selene
Pretty close to what it was like between him and Franni. They didn't get along very well at all, for a while. Selene didn't like that he followed her everywhere, and Diego didn't like that he HAD to follow her everywhere.
Buuut, they got used to each other, and they actually get along pretty well now.
3. Character's Name: Thomas.
Mixed feelings. On one side he hates him for murdering Franni. At the same time, knowing what the Source probably would have done to Franni and Cecilia (and what he did do to Thomas) if he had gotten to them first, Diego can understand his reason for doing what he did.
4. Character's Name: Avira.
Eh, they hate each other. When he started working for Franni, the underworld labeled him as a traitor. After Franni’s death, Diego was handed over to the Source, and forced to work for him and every other that came along after (and needless to say was not treated very well by any of them), all the way down
to Edward… and of course, Avira. This went on until Selene came along, and the binding spell that Franni placed on him years ago went back into effect.
He and Avira have also known each other for quite a while. Both of them being bat demons, they are from the same clan. And even back then they
didn’t get along.
