Relationship With Her: Eh.. so-so. Her mother was nice and all, but was never really there, mentally.
Most of the time she was this overly-chipper, “off in her own little world” sort of person,
and other times she was just an emotional train wreck.
Father: Leonard (Leo) Beckett.
Relationship With Him: Bad. Leo was a jerk. An abusive (more verbally than anything. he never hit people,
though he did do things like throw stuff, punch holes in walls, etc..), easily angered jerk.

At first, just sort of. He only stuck around because 1) he felt sorry for her and couldn’t make himself leave her,
and 2) he felt he owed it to her after she’d helped him. But after a while they became very good friends.
Why or why not: He was the only one that was ever really there for her. That can also be turned around,
as Cypress was one of the only people that was ever there for him (aside from his “sister” Roann, of course).
