Chapter 1:Cameron the Slayer
He stood tall against a large oak tree resting. He hated the forest there was too much noise and too many demons to destroy. He was a demonslayer. His name was Cameron. Cameron had dark brown hair and bright blue eyes. He stood at 5'11 and was average in weight, less than 200. He shook his head in disbelieve when he spotted a fox demon. He carefully approached the demon from behind. The fox looked at him and ran off. He followed it and chased it to the very edge of a cliff. "Okay prepare to die."he declared. The fox turned around and ran right under his legs disappearing. He stood there how could this have happened. He returned to his village where they were waiting. "Catch any skins brother?"Taz asked. "No Taz your older brother has failed to catch a simple fox demon. I'm going to retire as a slayer."he sighed and went into his room. He took off his battle suit and layed down on his bed. "I must catch that fox if it's the last thing I do. I must."he said falling asleep. The next day Taz was missing. Cameron looked all over for him but couldn't find him anywhere. Cameron put on his battesuit and went to find his younger brother. Somehow he knew he was in the forest.He entered the forest with one thing on his mind. I must find my little brother. He sat down in the shady grass. He thought he's only eight years old and he doesn't have any weapons to defend himself with. I must find him. Off in the distance there was the fox again. He had the sudden urge to go after it but something stopped him. He remembered his brother. He got up and walked away from the fox. The fox turned into human form as she watched the hunter walk away. Why didn't he chase her. She turned back into a fox and followed him. Cameron looked behind him the fox was following him. He turned to it. "Why are you following me?"he asked thinking a fox can't talk. Suddenly the fox transfered into a beautiful girl with red hair fox ears and a bushy tail. She had blue eyes. She anwsered him. "I wanted to know why you didn't chase me."she said. Cameron stood complety stunned. This fox had transformed before his very eyes. He then told her of his little brother and she agreed to help him as long as he wouldn't kill any demons unless he had to by force of life or death. Cameron agreed. He asked the fox demon her name. She looked at him and said. "My name is Serena." Cameron looked at her again and as he stood with her he thought to himself. From this moment on they were partners. Right then he life was changed forever and their journey to find Taz was just beginning.
