The shadow at the end of the hall remained lifeless. The house was dark and she faced the intruder alone. He was cloaked. She could not see his face. She didn't know who he was, but she remained motionless. Her body remained motionless. Her brain contorted and rambled about as if she hadn't thought clearly ever. Fear was a catalyst that made the equation speed up. Making her break down. But the long hallway left the long hellish creature to her. He had no name, nor a face. She wondered if this was a panorama or even an epiphany. She wondered a many things. Somehow she felt that the cloaked figure would not hurt her. The hall was growing darker and the figure moved toward her. One step. Two steps. Her heart began its unusual increase. Three. Four. Each step well thought out, well planned. She moved backwards towards the opposite end. She looked for an out. An escape. Anything. Five. Six. She could hear the breathing. Seven. Eight. The realizations that she was alone and trapped was growing more and more. She got it. But somehow she wasn't in Kansas anymore. There was no Fairy. There were no Ruby slippers. She was alone. Her back hit a wall. No doors. Just walls. She noted the light came from the other end of the tunnel. The reason it was dark. She was walking the wrong way. Nine. She could feel his heartbeat. The cloak was slowly removed. The silhouetted figure had a face. He had a name. Memories flooded her mind. She knew better. Ten. His arms pressed her down. Fingers like steel. Cold and hard. Calloused. She never forgot the way his hands scraped against her flesh. Buttons popped. Zippers broke. He took what he was rightfully ownership of. Without asking. Monsters can't change. She had already known it. She just liked to find out the hard way. And she did.
