Well, I guess it's not really camping if you're not in a tent. >.<'' Anywho... It wasn't the best weekend. It started out fun, But then something unexpected happened. We took out the motorboat and we went around the lake a bit. When we went to the dock, Travis' mum was waiting there. Well, She has leukemia, So he bones are already brittle and fragile. So the wind picked up and was moving us to the dock faster than we thought. I went to the front to try to move the boat a bit, So the front wouldn't hit the dock. His mum tried to stop it as well and her hand got caught between the dock and boat. I was right there and heard a sickening CRACK... She screamed and I cursed at myself for not telling her to move, That I had it. Travis was taking it all out on himself because he was driving the boat, But as his mum says, There was nothing he could do. So his dad rushed her to the hospital and Kenzie, Trav and I sat in the cabin, Waiting to hear how things were. Thank god it was a clean break. The doctor said she might not have been able to make it through surgery if the bone had shattered, So that's good. The thing that really sucks is next weekend, Trav, Kenzie and their dad were going to go fishing, But now they may call that off so she won't be left home alone. I said if she needed any help to just call me, But Trav says she's stubborn and won't ask for any help... I wish I could have done something... She's going to be home alone half a day weekdays too. Kenzie has school and Trav and their dad have work. I don't have anything right now, But she won't ask for help. I'm glad I could do something at the lake. Didn't feel quite so useless at least. *sigh* Well, That's all I have to say... I feel so bad for her. She was feeling so much better after chemo and was going to go back to work Wednesday, But not anymore...
