Angle M
Every morning, I wake up
The wind is howling outside, but
I am warm, safe, and happy
Filled with ever-growing love
And feelings for you.
Every afternoon, I sit at the table
Finishing geometry problems, while
Gazing out the window at the rain and wind.
The trees thrash wildy, and my geometry
Isn't going to solve itself,
But I'm still as warm as ever,
Glowing with happiness and calculating
The measure of angle M with a flourish.
Every night, I lie in bed, my spine
And hamstrings well-stretched and
Content, only adding to the gentle radience
I aleady harbor in my heart.
The philosopher in me comes out,
And we ponder the meaning of everything
Savoring these moments of understanding.
Late at night, as I drift off to sleep,
My mind is purly in the realms of imagination now,
Ready to dream the night away - for you.

- Description: Every time I get really romantic-y, I write one of those obnoxious non-rhyming 'poems'. It's really only a slightly-organized bunch of words, that didn't require too much thought to write. I was wondering if my poems (I can't think of a better description than 'poem', sorry) were any good, so I posted it. If you just tell me how bad or (I wish) good it is, I'll be happy!

- it is ok for the substance of the story but as for a poem there is not a greater meaning or symbolism involved so for me i would say you have writing talent but go deeper and see what happens.
