But the night of homecoming, not many really care because everyone is full of energy and excitement in wait for the special night of dancing, and hanging with friends in celebration if the game was won or lost.

Here come the girls,
Dressed in dresses
Long gowns from head to toe.
Mostly high heels,
And some colors are in teal.
Other colors flying in the wind
Like a beautiful rainbow
That just appeared from the
Sudden stopping of the rain.
A nice clear sky

Make-up being applied
Hair being twisted--
In a unique style
That will be only shown once
Jittery excited feelings of
“Oh em Gee, I can’t wait.”

Dates getting primped
Already--
Matching
Going all steady
Catching each other’s eyes
With a great sigh
Of happy relief
And big belief
That their homecoming
Night will become
The most magical Night
Of all.

While we walked
Into the gym
Everywhere was dazzling
Everyone will be bedazzled
The stars twinkle as if they are dancing

The absolute night that no one shall forget
Because this is Homecoming Night.
