Taking a drive down the road
Seeing just buildings, houses and cars
But theres one place that i know
Thats untouched by all we cause
Theres no city noise , its so peaceful and pure
Sitting here all by myself thinking
With sound of the waterfall and nothing more
A place to go when i feel like im sinking
Away from the city , filled with green
Flowing water with fish and ducks
Blocking out the city sounds and scenes
I cant hear the cars and trucks
I stare at the light gleaming on the water
With the sun so high in the sky
I lay there dreaming hour upon hour
Letting life just pass me by
I sit back and take in the smells
Because I cant smell anything like the city
I take a look around and i can tell
It is a definition of peace and beauty
Before i leave i take one look back
I think to myself and smile
And yet again i know for a fact
That ill be back in a little while
- Title: That one place...
- Artist: Joe Pipes
- Description: I hate how just about every poem on here is something to do with sadness or grief so i decided to make one about one of my favorite places, its a peaceful little stream with nothing but simple nature, no roads or houses , with a nice little place to go camping up stream as long as your willing to get a little wet crossing it. since its comepletely surrounded by trees it drowns all all the sounds as well.
