Waiting never ending.
Impatience rending.
Desire so deep.
Difficult to sleep.

I know I ask a lot,
But you are all I want.
I’ll wait forever -
Always endeavor.

You hold my heart;
You have since the start.
Keep It forever.
Hand it back never.

I’ve always been here.
Don’t shed a tear.
I’ll never leave.
I won’t deceive.

Through it all
I’ve been on call.
Once out of reach.
Distance had much to teach.

Never again
Will I remain
So far away.
Not one day.

I’ve learned through pain.
Walked in the rain.
What we could be,
I’m dying to see.
