Monochrome
It is dark,
It's not over,
It is harsh,
It's not mild.
Colors bright,
Not always,
Tainted viewpoints,
Can be so wild.
Black or White,
What does it matter?
From our souls,
Comes who we are.
Rights or wrongs,
Who truly cares?
It's our souls,
That makes us strong.

- Title: Monochrome
- Artist: RadioPaint
- Description: A poem written for homework that was based on a book called 'Noughts and Crosses'. The book described what the world would be like If racism took over, and the population were divided into two groups: White people being the Noughts, who were frowned upon, and Black people being the crosses, who were very powerful. But then a 'Nought' and 'Cross' fall in love. This poem explains that however big a feud can be between different 'colors', it is not our skin-color that should judge us, but our souls.
