The words I was too afraid to say.
The words I never had the strength to let out.
I write them down, too afraid to say
What I really feel.
I don’t send them and I don’t speak them.
I’m afraid…
Of rejection.
Of the truth.
This is the story,
The story that was never told.
The story that never got a happily ever after.
These are the words,
The words that I never got the chance to say.
The words that were so easy to say,
But somehow, I never let them come out.
I know it’s too late,
But whatever words I say,
I will always love you.
And wherever you’re at,
I will always love you.
These are the words,
That have come too late.
These words are…
