Oh, Goddess,
My Goddess,
Why do you bewilder so?
A land of confusion,
Of hatred,
Of love,
Of woe.
I wanted to believe
There was a chance on these lands,
But the immortal emotions run free
And life lies in their hands.
Oh, Goddess,
I do not mean dissrespect,
For your workings are yours alone.
Free Will is of your choosing,
But we all seem to choose the wrong road.
Oh, Goddes,
Blessed be and Merry meet.
I shall speak to you once again
When the Otherworld arrives at our shores,
When spirits live in peace,
And the evil clouding minds is no more.

Description:
It was a moment right after I read the 6th book of the House of Night series, Tempted, that I had this idea for a poem. My friend seemed to like it, and so do I. <3
I hope you enjoy my little prayer to the Goddess Nyx.

I rated it 4 by accident ^^; 5/5
It has a peaceful tone to it.
This shows some parts of human nature compared to what a higher being would want. Nicee ;] - Report As Spam
