Excitement builds,
The carnival's today!
It's me and her going
and on each ride we'll play.

After 2 long months,
my patience been through a test
And now the carnival's here
and she finally said yes.

Perfect timing?
I don't think.
One thing I know
Is I can't wait.



Time passes quickly
to the grand finale.



Stars twinkle
And the farris wheel freezes.
On top we're stuck
looking in between us.

My hand was held
on to yours tight.
The fireworks start
to end the perfect night.

No kiss or hug.
You acted so sweet.
You lay your head on my shoulder
and drifted to sleep.

"The carnival's today!"
was what I said.
I dropped her at her house.
Excitement ends.
