There is a place beyond the sea
A place that calls gently to me
I stand, face to the sea, against the rail
The wind rushes out to sails
Speeding my mind on it's way
To my home and another day
The place is calling, calling me home
Never more to wander or roam
But I cannot yet go home
To soft sand made wet by sea foam
I cannot yet go to see my love
Voice like an angel, peace like a dove
For I must go back to land
Back to dry, gritt sand
But if I could fly like birds on high
Head straight to your arms, I'd go sailing
