Pain sweeps through my body,
Shaking me to the bone.
Snapped like twigs, and broken,
The pain not losing its tone.
I wait and wait for releif to come,
Pain like shadows, folowing me.
A distant hum of voices,
Each one a deserate plea.
I see naught but fuzzy images,
Each a person waiting for this girl.
I feel the pain inside me.
I hope I do not hurl.
I sit as still as rocks.
Pain swelling in my arm.
I close my eyes and weep,
I can't take away this harm.
The hospitle is not too far now.
My eyes still closed in pain.
For this pain I wish desperatly,
That instead I had been slain.
A tube stuck in my hand,
Has given me some meds.
I now realize that here,
Nothing is softer than these beds.
My vision blurs even more,
Blackness sweeping in.
My head lies down to rest.
My hand held by my kin.
Now I sit at home,
All snuggled up and warm.
A smile on my lips.
From school I had been torn.

- I typed it. I fell off monkey bars... The only awesome thing that I got out of it was that I got to stay home from school for at least a month! It hurt real bad too.
