They say the stuff tastes really good
She said so, when with us she sat.
Unfortunately, The drink was poison
We probably should’ve told her that.
We knew it, and knew it well
But when we remembered, alas!
It is sad that we only stopped forgetting
After she’d downed the whole glass.
