The day I left was the day I died
You told them it was natural, my sweet,
But that’s a lie, a filthy bloody lie
Just like your hands dear, I say it louder
I scream it, the scream the nobody heard
I held you down, so you released me
Beautiful girls sing you praises, love
Is this really what you wanted?
My diamond on a fresh blood’s pretty finger
You smashed my piano, after me
Keys scattered like my blood
Black, white, black white, pool of red…
I was dead.
Strike a chord with a dead and gone
Tattered lace and bone won’t make it right
But it is so deliciously wrong I think I can try
Wedding bells will wake your midnight slumber
Remember our first dance that I wrote?
I composed it right here, in my corner.
Imagine how such a blissful melody
Now haunts your dreams, a treacle poison
A stark antidote to your new set of legs
Revenge is such a b***h.
Especially when she doesn’t die.

- Title: Till' Death (And Beyond)
- Artist: DeterminedLittleDreamer
- Description: I really don't know where this poem came from, since I certainly don't share any of these experiences. >.< The idea is that a woman gets married to a man who kills her after a while to marry a younger girl who doesn't "hold him down". The wife then comes back as a ghost/phantom/zombeh and haunts him :D.
