I try everyday
In every way
To be accepted

I am strange
I am weird
I am something to be feared
This is what people see
I am only me

I am different
I am kind
And I hurt

This is what people do
They judge before they see the truth
Forget about that please
I am begging on my knees

I cry black tears
I am faced with so many fears
I will never fit in
I will never win

Is this really me?
