He heard her sing and sang along
And followed long, and listened.
He ran to find the singer fair,
She fled, but it was not for long
before he found her sitting there,
her silver hair aglisten.
He found her clothed in black and gold
and in a glade she stood so still
her sterling hair like moonlight shone
and saw him, loathe to stay.
She fled to stand on empty hill
and sing the elven songs of old,
But Greenleaf followed, listened still;
He'd not be led astray...
