]Waiting for your call
But it never came
Waiting for this pain to go away
But it still hurts
Waiting for sleep to come
But the tears still run
Waiting for a smile to come to my lips
But I can’t stop crying
Waiting for the sun to shine
But the storm keeps blowing constantly
Waiting for you to tell me everything’s ok
But you don’t say a word
Waiting for the apology
But it’s not coming
Like your call will never come,
Like my pain won’t go away,
Like my tears will never dry,
Like my smile will never show,
Like the sun won’t shine,
Like everything will NOT be ok,
But I will always be waiting
Just in case they do come
Even when there seems to be no hope

I love the poem. It screams with your sadness. I can feel some of your pain. And as Aillen said that call will come and she will always love you. Don't lose your hope. That way it will have a better chance of working out sooner.

this could also be a poem reflecting the loss of a boy/girl friend
i can feel the sorrow spilling from your writing like a river of tears
life will get better and the sun will come out
keep holding in and slowly things will progress - Report As Spam

- I LUV THIS POEM! It has sorrow but so much meaning and passion put into it. I'm so sorry your mother left you. Don't worry. The call will come. And where ever she is, she'll always love you. But that's actually her loss, losing such a great, passionate poet of a daughter.
