-
Like the soft whisper of a breeze,
life slips pass me,
Memories of the past fade,
as time moves on.
Childhood is, but a sweet fog,
cherished, yet forgotten,
The future seems to stretch so wide,
yet looking back from the other side,
A few steps is all I've walked.
Life is short and often bittersweet,
Easy to forget or hard to remember,
We say childhood was the best,
'cause our hundred years stretched on,
but in one blink, we stood,
Innocence gone with the wind.
So hold the memories close,
with all your might,
Cherish every second,
Another moment of life,
joins the breeze.....
