Spinning and spinning,
Too fast to see.
Too fast to breathe.
Don't want to see what's there,
It's screaming.
It's bleeding.
Invincible, invincible,
Darling, you're not.
You're screaming.
You're bleeding.
We're spinning too fast now.
It's too late to stop now.
Don't want to.
Don't need to.
Can't feel you,
Can't breathe you.
You choke and kill,
And I want to sing.
The real struggle,
The real truth,
Is that you never mattered,
And you can't figure out why.
You were born to die.
We were born to watch you fall.

- Title: Losing the Wrong Fight
- Artist: KittyKatRobot
- Description: I wrote this about an ex friend. She was my best friend for years, but then she started to smoke weed, and our friendship died (hence the "choke and kill"). She's never read this, but maybe someday I'll find the cajones to show her?

- It's not bad. It feels a little... over descriptive. Like too much of it would be impossible to understand if you just read it by itself, without the explanation. But I liked the last stanza a lot. biggrin If the whole thing was more like that, this would definitely be a 5/5 poem for me.

- It's meant to be about her losing control of her life and how it was impossible to stop her.
