By the tree of my dreams
By the sky of my wishes
Comes a world of joys
Where the grass is always
greener
Skies are always bluer
And the bunnies were always fluffier
The nights are mostly clear
So stars can shine some light on that
lost traveler's path sometimes
Although there are some storms here and there,
at least the lightening is fun to watch
So many colours
One day, the skies, went from blue to gray
Storms stayed for months on end
Animals went into hiding
Nights were no longer clear.
Stars don't help to brighten the path of a lost traveler
The lightening does though
My tree of dreams
Is now burned and turned into my tree
Of nightmares
My skies are gray and stormy
And my wishes are crushed
By death wishes

Interesting. I like this one.
I take it as your dreams quickly fading away, but not just disapearing, they get replaced by more terrible and horrible thoughts and dreams. It's not the World Gone Bad, but the people who make it so. - Report As Spam
