I've sat on the sea shore late at night
the oceans always been a mystery to me
I drift further and further out of sight
till I lose perspective of my favorite tree
I feel like a giant monster would hull me in
I feel for that soft sweet touch of your skin
I feel around for your long ebony hair
hoping you'd be there
still wishing and wishing that I'll find you soon
inside the ocean in the glow of the moon
I would swim under water for a day and a night
I would swim and swim with all my might
Swimming deeper and deeper into the sea
knowing the more I come in the closer to you'll be

- Title: finding you
- Artist: washingmarshmallows
- Description: I live in Australia but my girlfriend moved to Hawaii and I just wrote this poem in such a dramatic way because I miss her that much. I find it kind of stupid but I hope she feels the same way even though I wont be seeing her for any years soon. Feeling like she's gone forever, It probably sounds more creepy than romantic because this guy is looking for a corpse but she told me she liked it and is going to write me one as well. Hope it didn't weird anyone out too much.

- boring. Cliche, boring... yawn* Well, it had no pretty words and it was all just one straight tone when I read it. The poem doesn't ave a very good rhyme scheme. Gruh. It was a nice try though. 2/5
