Believing in something I don't know is real
But to have such faith in something,
I make it my own
Not bending reality but twisting it instead
I have this sort of lullaby replaying in my head
It's telling to to stop and think, to live as I choose,
But how would I continue on when there is nothing to
live for or do?
When I die I hope I am at peace, and find my right of tranquility.
I seem to be a little crazed, a little out of mind
But as I grow older and learn some more,
I feel I am loosing time
I try not to let my mind linger on things to come,
But I will always believe, that destiny plays a cruel game on the mind,
Some say I am believing in nothing,
But I think that this 'Nothing' I'm believing in,
Has gotten me through the hardest times,
Of my sad and darkened past,
Let those who judge me for what I believe in,
See what I see now,
Never judge someone for who they are, or what they think
It's the uniqueness that counts.
Shall the lord be my savior, and Guide on my way,
Even if I am disappointed when I have passed away,
At least I had something to believe in.
